Idaho Project FORESIGHT Reports - Restitution Documentation
Idaho State Police Forensic Services has been notified by Project FORESIGHT at West Virginia University’s John Chambers School of Business and Economics that, for efficiency in Idaho’s fiscal year 2023, we ranked 13th out of 212 forensic laboratories worldwide and 12th out of 188 U.S. forensic science laboratories in terms of data submission. ISPFS is rated at over 94% efficient.
Impact Reports
This publication highlights the critical role ISPFS Laboratories plays in Idaho’s criminal justice system. ISPFS’s forensic analyses contribute to convictions, exonerations, and proof of innocence. Timely results are essential for judicial success, and support from Idaho policymakers has been key to the lab’s achievements. ISPFS remains committed to serving Idaho citizens and criminal justice partners while leading innovative forensic initiatives.
